INSTANT REPLAY

The moment, again.

The knockout, the buzzer-beater, the pin: the plays people came for last two seconds. Replay is how a broadcast honors them. AVP.Live runs instant replay with slow motion, multiple angles, and a dedicated operator who lives inside the game.

  • Dedicated replay operator
  • Multi-angle slow motion
  • Official-review feeds available

What it is and why it matters

Instant replay is a system that records every camera continuously and lets an operator play any moment back, from any angle, at any speed, seconds after it happens. On television it's so standard that its absence is jarring. That's exactly the point: replay is one of the clearest lines between "someone streamed the game" and "someone broadcast it."

Why it matters goes beyond polish. The biggest moment of your event happens once, fast, and half the audience blinks. Without replay, that moment is simply gone from the live experience. With replay, the broadcast breathes: the play runs back in slow motion, the audience understands what actually happened, and the moment gets the weight it earned. Announcers get something to talk over. Sponsors get replay-wipe branding, a genuinely valuable inventory slot. And your program starts behaving like the broadcasts your fans watch every weekend.

There's a second job replay does that most buyers don't expect: official review. For combat sports and tournament play, we can deliver a dedicated review feed to officials, so a disputed call gets looked at properly instead of argued about. Some sanctioning bodies expect it. Ask early and we'll build it into the plan.

How we run it

Replay is a crewed position, not a feature

A dedicated replay operator marks moments in real time, builds the playback, and rolls it on the director's call. Asking the technical director to also run replay is how moments get missed. We staff it.

Every angle is recording, all the time

The replay system captures each camera continuously, so the operator can choose the angle that actually shows the play, not just the one that was live.

Speed is a storytelling choice

Full speed to re-show, slow motion to reveal. The operator and director decide per play, on comms, in seconds.

Integrated with the switch

Replays roll through the program with clean transitions and sponsor-branded wipes when your package includes graphics. It looks like television because it's built like television.

Marked moments become your highlights

Everything the operator marks during the game is a head start on the highlight reel. Post-event editing is the natural add-on

Sport-specific preparation

Replay for wrestling is not replay for basketball. The operator preps for the sport's rhythm, its scoring, and where controversy tends to live.

What happens after you request a quote

  1. A real person replies within one business day.
  2. A 15-minute call about your sport, your venue, and your broadcast.
  3. A free walk-through that produces a camera and replay plan.
  4. A written plan and one price. Replay angles are named, not implied.
  5. You book the date. The operator preps your sport before game day.

Questions we get asked

Does replay require a big camera package?

No. Replay adds value from two cameras up. More angles give the operator more choices, but a two-camera show with a real replay operator already reads as a broadcast.

Can officials use your replay for reviews?

Yes. We provide dedicated review feeds and a monitor at the officials' position when the event calls for it. Tell us the sanctioning body's requirements and we'll match them.

Is slow motion included?

Yes. Slow-motion playback is standard on our replay systems. Speeds are a per-play choice made live by the operator and director.

Can sponsors be part of replay?

Yes, and they should be. Replay wipes and replay-segment branding are among the most-watched sponsor inventory in a sports broadcast. Our graphics package builds them in your sponsor's branding.

Do we get the replay clips after the event?

Yes. Marked moments are deliverable after the show, and they become the raw material for highlight reels and social clips if you add post-event editing.

Is replay a separate crew member we pay for?

Yes, and that's the honest answer to why our replays roll on time. A dedicated operator is the position; the system alone is just storage. Your quote lists it plainly.
